Silene affghanica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik). Nama ilmiah Silene affghanica diperkenalkan oleh Paul Rohrbach pada tahun 1867.
