Silene argaea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye tengah. Nama ilmiah Silene argaea diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Ernst Ludwig von Fischer pada tahun 1854.
