Silene catholica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Silene catholica diperkenalkan oleh William Townsend Aiton pada tahun 1811.
