Silene chlorantha merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Asia tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yellowgreen catchfly. Nama ilmiah Silene chlorantha diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1792.
