Silene coeli-rosa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan rose silene. Nama ilmiah Silene coeli-rosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Dominique Alexandre Godron pada tahun 1847.
