Silene dichotoma merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan forked catchfly. Nama ilmiah Silene dichotoma diperkenalkan oleh Jakob Friedrich Ehrhart pada tahun 1792.
