Silene galataea merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Siprus. Nama ilmiah Silene galataea diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1888.
