Silene graeca merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa tenggara. Nama ilmiah Silene graeca diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1843.
