Silene muscipula merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria, Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Silene muscipula diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
