Silene neglecta merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Spanyol timur laut hingga Mediterania tengah. Nama ilmiah Silene neglecta diperkenalkan oleh Michele Tenore pada tahun 1826.
