Silene nuda merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Oregon selatan hingga Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan western fringed catchfly. Nama ilmiah Silene nuda diperkenalkan oleh Sereno Watson pada tahun 1947.
