Silene odoratissima merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Xinjiang. Nama ilmiah Silene odoratissima diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1830.
