Silene persica merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Iran barat daya. Nama ilmiah Silene persica diperkenalkan oleh Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1843.
