Silene pinetorum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Kriti. Nama ilmiah Silene pinetorum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Edmond Boissier pada tahun 1849.
