Silene psammitis merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Semenanjung Iberia barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Silene psammitis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Heinrich Friedrich Link pada tahun 1818.
