Silene spinescens merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Yunani tenggara. Nama ilmiah Silene spinescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama James Edward Smith pada tahun 1809.
