Silene taygetea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Yunani selatan. Nama ilmiah Silene taygetea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Eugen von Halácsy pada tahun 1906.
