Silene thurberi adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Arunachal Pradesh, China (Yunnan barat daya dan Guangxi barat), hingga Indo-China. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolly catchfly. Nama ilmiah Silene thurberi diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sereno Watson pada tahun 1875.
