Silene tomentosa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Nama ilmiah Silene tomentosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Adolf Otth pada tahun 1824.
