Silene toussidana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Chad utara (Tibesti). Nama ilmiah Silene toussidana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Pierre Ambrunaz Quézel pada tahun 1958.
