Silvorchis aurea merupakan tumbuhan holomikotrofik dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam Utara. Nama ilmiah Silvorchis aurea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Leonid Vladimirovich Averyanov pada tahun 2006.
