Sisyrinchium acre merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Iridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Hawaii (Maui timuri, Hawaii). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan hawai'i blue-eyed grass. Nama ilmiah Sisyrinchium acre pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Horace Mann Jr. pada tahun 1867.
