Sisyrinchium laxum merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Iridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (São Paulo, Paraná), hingga Argentina. Nama ilmiah Sisyrinchium laxum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christoph Friedrich Otto pada tahun 1822.
