Sloanea excelsa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Elaeocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Amazonas: sekitar Manaus). Nama ilmiah Sloanea excelsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Adolpho Ducke pada tahun 1935.
