Sloanea grossa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Elaeocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela (Aragua). Nama ilmiah Sloanea grossa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franklin Sumner Earle pada tahun 1954.
