Sloanea synandra merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Elaeocarpaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Sloanea synandra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Spruce pada tahun 1861.
