Solanum cantense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru tengah. Nama ilmiah Solanum cantense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carlos M. Ochoa pada tahun 1959.
