Solanum costatum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Guianas. Nama ilmiah Solanum costatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michael Nee pada tahun 2001.
