Solanum hystrix adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Australia Selatan (Semenanjung Eyre). Nama ilmiah Solanum hystrix pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1810.
