Solanum knappiae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Alagoas). Nama ilmiah Solanum knappiae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Maria de Fátima Agra pada tahun 2016.
