Solanum nelsonii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Hawaii. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan nelson's horsenettle. Nama ilmiah Solanum nelsonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michel Félix Dunal pada tahun 1852.
