Solanum prolatum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Queensland. Nama ilmiah Solanum prolatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anthony Bean pada tahun 2014.
