Solanum restingae merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Brazil (Bahia, Rio de Janeiro). Nama ilmiah Solanum restingae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sandra Diane Knapp pada tahun 1989.
