Solanum riojense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Solanum riojense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich August Georg Bitter pada tahun 1913.
