Solanum tectum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Solanum tectum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christiaan Hendrik Persoon pada tahun 1805.
