Solanum torreanum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mozambique hingga Eswatini. Nama ilmiah Solanum torreanum mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1997.
