Solanum triste adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Lesser Antilles hingga Venezuela (Sucre). Nama ilmiah Solanum triste diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1760.
