Solidago caesia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan wreath goldenrod. Nama ilmiah Solidago caesia diperkenalkan oleh Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1753.
