Solidago randii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat timur laut hingga Virginia. Nama ilmiah Solidago randii diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Conrad Porter pada tahun 1901.
