Solidago verna merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang North Carolina hingga South Carolina. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan springflowering goldenrod. Nama ilmiah Solidago verna diperkenalkan oleh Moses Ashley Curtis pada tahun 1842.
