Sonchus daltonii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Cape Verde. Nama ilmiah Sonchus daltonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Philip Barker Webb pada tahun 1849.
