Sonchus gummifer adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria (Tenerife). Nama ilmiah Sonchus gummifer diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Johann Heinrich Friedrich Link pada tahun 1828.
