Sonchus laceratus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kepulauan Desventuradas. Nama ilmiah Sonchus laceratus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Rodolfo Amando Philippi pada tahun 2012.
