Sonerila rheedei merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah India barat daya, Thailand timur laut. Nama ilmiah Sonerila rheedei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1834.
