Sophora macrocarpa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili tengah dan selatan-tengah. Nama ilmiah Sophora macrocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Edward Smith pada tahun 1816.
