Souroubea venosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Marcgraviaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Souroubea venosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Walter Schery pada tahun 1940.
