Sparaxis grandiflora subsp. violacea merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Iridaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Sparaxis grandiflora subsp. violacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Friedrich Ecklon pada tahun 1969.
