Spermacoce glabra merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian) yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian tengah dan timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan smooth false buttonweed. Nama ilmiah Spermacoce glabra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
