EMORY'S GLOBEMALLOW Sphaeralceaemoryi Torr. ex A.Gray
Sphaeralcea emoryi merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga New Mexico dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan emory's globemallow. Nama ilmiah Sphaeralcea emoryi pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1849.
