Sphaerobambos hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan (Sabah). Nama ilmiah Sphaerobambos hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Soejatmi Dransfield pada tahun 1989.
